Lucitech began in 2007 when the small MGA that Tracy Engel worked for merged with a company that was not using AIM, and laid off part of the incoming IT team. Rather than try to get another local job and learn a new insurance technology, Tracy decided to apply her expertise with AIM systems as a consultant. There was an immediate need for her services, and she was already known in the Vertafore culture, so Lucitech experienced a successful launch. Today, Lucitech is growing and adding people to help maintain service levels, and expanding services to include expert database administration and application development.
