AIM Data Validation

Accurate reports and bordereaux depend on accurate data entry. That can be tricky when data entry and reporting requirements vary from product, or state, or company.

AIM provides a framework for entering custom data validation rules that you designate. These can apply globally to all policies, or the rules can be set to apply to specific cases that you outline.

These rules can apply differently at different stages of the policy lifecycle, as well. Different rules can apply at quoting rather than binding, and even at time of endorsement or cancellation.

These rules are entered directly into the SQL database as stored procedures. Lucitech is very experienced in writing and applying data entry validation rules that work with your team, and not against them.

When the data entry is validated and excellent the quality of your downstream activities like policy issuance and reporting also improves.

Third Party Integration

There are many third-party applications that want to share data with the AIM system. These might be insurance rating applications, regulatory filing applications, mapping or underwriting information applications, or in-house accounting software. Data these subsequent processes need is already captured in AIM, and these third-party applications want AIM to pass these data fields to their application, so that the user does not have to type the same things over again.  It makes for more streamlined and accurate data entry, which translates to significant savings every year for the MGA client. 

Lucitech provides affordable third-party application integration for AIM clients.  For smaller offices, we can provide full project lead services to include gathering requirements with the third party application through development of the integration scripts and testing. For larger MGAs we are often hired as a dedicated development resource for short term projects when in-house resources are taxed on other projects.
